Notes on the history of the Hiscock family, who migrated to Australia in 1878. Notes describe family of Albert Edwin Hiscock and his wife Clara Hiscock, describes family emigrating from Salisbury on the ship Hesperus in 1878. Mentions possibility of birth of a child at sea. Albert later working as a stone mason in Adelaide; after his death his family lived in Tasmania and later Victoria. Mentions wife and son working for a squatter. His widow remarried and was subsequently known as granny Bayley.
