Notes describe family of Albert Edwin Hiscock and his wife Clara Hiscock, describes family emigrating from Salisbury on the ship Hesperus in 1878. Mentions possibility of birth of a child at sea. Albert later working as a stone mason in Adelaide; after his death his family lived in Tasmania and later Victoria. Mentions wife and son working for a squatter. His widow remarried and was subsequently known as granny Bayley.
